Meadow Pipit
Breeds on tundra, each in far north and in excessive mountains above treeline, in areas with very low growth similar to sedges, grass, and dwarf willows. In migration and winter found on flat open ground corresponding to plowed fields, quick-grass prairie, mudflats, shores, river sandbars.
